Jackie played his last gig at the Macquarie Hotel, on Thursday, January 24, just before the Australia Day long weekend, where some of his close friends gathered on the night of his passing to play and to grieve... It is very much his wish that the music now go on.

Jackies band can be found playing at the Macquarie Hotel, on Thursday nights, as they used to do, and Tina, Jackies partner, also has a residency with her band on Sundays at the Macquarie.

Jackie has a new trio album featuring Dave Symes ( Bass) and Hamish Stuart (Drums) in the final stages of mastering, to be released on Vitamin Records later this year, and his partner Tina Harrod has also a new recording awaiting imminent release.

There is an additional album of brand new material that Jackie was was working hard to complete over this last summer, which will also be released in the months to come.

In 2005, the ABC radio Blues project recorded a great interview with Jackie, where he talks with insight about the spirit of the music - something he understood intimately.
